In the entire time that I’ve lived in NYC, I don’t remember ever looking up – at the sky, at buildings, etc. – for any non-work related reason. I think it’s because every time I’ve ever seen anyone look up, I automatically categorize them as a tourist/a person blocking the sidewalk. I actually did it recently and got some strange looks from pedestrians. So why would I lump myself into that category? Yet aside from the dude in the orange shirt, I found out that everyone else in the picture looking up lived in the neighborhood.
On another note, I’m about to depart on a 20+ hour plane ride across the Pacific. That’s gonna suck. I also realized that I’m going to be gone for a month, which is a hell of a lot of time.
If you’d like a post card or something while I’m away, post or e-mail me your mailing address.
More updates and wacky photos tk.
