The Happiest Man Alive

TESTON-fourthofjulyFourth of July was this past weekend. Unfortunately, they moved the fireworks to the Hudson River, so while we couldn’t really see the festivities from Brooklyn, we were treated to a nice view of the skyline.

The following morning, I decided to wander around a while before I headed back home.

Standing in the middle of Broadway in SoHo, a street vendor fired off bubbles at oncoming traffic, pedestrians, anyone really. I’ve honestly never seen anyone as happy as the guy below. The bubble blowers went for five dollars a pop. He is 47 and “…couldn’t be any happier with what I am doing.” Maybe the rest of us are doing something wrong.
