Uh-Oh.

I take pictures of lots of people and random objects. People and things that I barely know most of the time. But for some reason, I don’t take photos of my friends from college, which now that I think about it, is very strange. Why wouldn’t I take pictures of the people I hang out with, the people I’ve known and lived with for four years? Maybe I was just trying to separate “work” from “home.” In fact, I’ve only recently brought my camera with me when I visit friends in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

I should probably change that.

Anyway, here are a few photos of my friends that I could find (and it took some serious searching).

A long time coming.

For about a year now, I’ve been planning to put up a blog of some sorts up. Like a lot of things in life, the blog got pushed back or knocked down the totem pole of important things to do.

Well not anymore.

I live in a city where everything out of the ordinary is ordinary. From here on out, I will be posting photographs of the little slices of life in New York City (and maybe some of the important newsy stuff too), the bits that make it as strange and as normal as its residents have come to love, hate, cry over, and most importantly, outright ignore.

And here is the first image (for those of you who attend NYU, you may remember this/completely glossed over it):
